Position: PROJECT MANAGER Reports To: Sr. Project Manager
Department: PROJECT MANAGEMENT Supervises: Individual Contributor
Classification : Exempt Payrate/Salary : DOE
Employment type: Full Time Schedule: Monday – Friday
Hours: Flexible shift, net 40 -45 hours/week

Summary Job Summary – Under the general direction of the Sr. Project Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for the coordination of all functions related to successful project completion in a diverse manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Manage and promote all interdepartmental Work Order Communications specific to the project:
- Create Work Orders from processes defined by the Engineering Group within the ERP system.
- Generate procurement requirements for the Purchasing Group within the ERP system.
- Prepare job packets for the Manufacturing Group based on Customer specifications.
- Communicate documentation and/or any Customer-specific requirements to Quality Assurance
- Prepare updates for the Customer Service Group.
- Present Project status updates in Production Meetings.
- Identify cost, quality and/or delivery concerns in real time and present to Executive Management.
- Communicate any special shipping requirements to Shipping/Receiving Group
- Monitor and maintain the accuracy and the progress of Work Order(s):
- Regularly check for receipt of material and lapse in production
- Ensure and advise on Sales Orders progress
- Create Shop Packets
- Review and acknowledge any outside service requests
Qualifications:
- A team player with demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills
- Exceptional collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to respond to inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, approval bodies, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, peers and manufacturing.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Global Shop Solutions -a plus)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

Education and/or Experience
- 2-3 years cross-functional manufacturing and/or Project Management experience.
- Background in Production Planning/Scheduling/Control a plus
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with ERP systems
- Proficiency in reading drawings is a plus
